A tale has ended, yet another one begins
Well peeps, I guess it would be more 'cool' to end this with a 100th post but...I suppose I'll have to settle for 99. Yup, you read right - I'll be shutting this baby down...NOT! Heh, not really at least. This bloggy's staying here for my 'personal recollection' purposeses. You know, sometimes you just wanna view the past so..yeah. I want this blog here so I can still turn back a page and re-live part of my past again; the good parts, at the very least. I'll be starting a new blog soon - to capture my future college moments and so on. A private one till I can figure out if I wanna show it to people. I'm not all that interesting a persona anyway, so like, what-ave.
*Sighs* Guess this is goodbye old bloggy. Friends, see you around and may you all reach success in life. You served me well dear bloggy, so thank you. And now before I get all mushy and start renting on...byes.
XOXO,
The Diva with a Dagger
Peace out!
"My memories will be part of the sky..."

CHEER 2007 - Go Out With A BANG!
Alas, once again my blog is outdated. Honestly no surprise there since I've been in a sort of 'depressed' state till recently. Heres the brief download (although I've already ranted on about that freaking depression on FRIENDSTER). My theory is I've been pretty much down in the lows since I can't even remember when and that it only got out of control when my parents told me those very hurtful, unforgettable words:
No.
More.
Cheerleading.
Gosh! Did that crush me or what? One guess.
*Ahem* Back to CHEER 2007.
So it was a long 2 days of competition for all 41 competing squads this year (isn't it always?), but its very much different for me. For the first time in my cheer life I'll be watching this competition from the sidelines instead of performing along with my school's squad, the Vulcanz (guys and gals). Would have been more of an event if I could perform too.
Would just like a moment to say how proud I am of all the seniors (people I learned to love and tressure as our squad stuck together all those years) and juniors (those new family members yet have given us new hope) of their accomplishments this year - guys 3rd, gals 4th. It's the first year both squads REALLY have reason to celebrate. And though I missed being able to take the mat with you guys, you know I shouted like crazy for you people that day~ I love VULCANZ! Good job president muffin, JK the guys captain, JY, Steven (though I barely know you), Ber, FH, LZ, 'toinks' and everyone else for bringing VLC's name up in lights once again. Brings back memories of CHEER 2003 - the 'magical' year - seniors who were there, you know what I mean. Last but definitely NOT least, I thank those fellow Seafield-ians who cheered for our beloved school squad for those 2 days. You guys were probably one of the many reasons they were able to clinch 2 of the top 4 positions this year so 'thanks' for not being dead XP.
So anyways, now that CHEER 2007's over, I think I'm recovering (slowly) from that freaking depression. I won't say I'm totally 100% cured for now but at least I've got my motivation to study back and do well for SPM. If mom and dad, and everyone only knew how much of an impact cheer has had on my life...maybe they wouldn't have taken it away. The way I see it, cheer 'gave' me reason to live. For once, I could think to myself 'its good to be alive'. And honestly I don't think anything else's ever made me happier before.
PS: Oh no, it might not be the end of my 'cheer career' just yet. Who knows, I 'might' join CHARM ^^~ Oh yeah, good job to CHARM for their amazing performance that day - love the dance!! (lol XD).

"Farewells are not the end..."
Quote Shizel, Tales Of Destiny 2:
"Farewells are not the end, for we will be together for all eternity"
*Ahem* Yeah, so I like quoting phrases from the games I've played. Inspired by the recent 'Majlis Persaraan Datin Hasiah' (retirement ceremony? heck, it's something along those lines in English).
So while I highly doubt I'd ever miss having her around in Seafied, it's still-in a way-sad to see a teacher like her leave. Same goes for Pn. Zaleha from last year (although she hasn't been around nearly as long).
27th February 2007, 8.00am, SMK Seafield. I'm almost positive most other students were either bored or being roasted to death for the entirety of the Majlis. Me? Surprise, I actually enjoyed it. I had a good seat
(shaded from the violent rays eminating from the giant flame-orange orb in the sky-if you don't know what I'm refering to then you're a 'doink') and had a good view of the performances too
(yay me ^^).Okay, so things started off the usual way any other perhimpunan rasmi
(official essembly) would-morning prayers, ikrar, National anthem
(people still not standing still -_-"), etc. When it came to the speeches, haha, gotta say Pn. Wang's was certainly 'memorial'; lolz XD
(is her English 'that' bad?). Of course, the performances were pretty good this time round.
First off, props goes to my fellow friends of SMK Seafield's very own cheerleading squad, Vulcanz (VLC for short).Have you guys improved or what? Hah, no falls! You bet, I'm proud~
(taking into consideration how tough a crowd our schoolmates can be). Still, you guys can do better, stunts and motions kinda sloppy eh? Sharpen'em more and please don't show that 'I'm scared' face-you know who you are.
Up next, Tarian Harmoni (harmony dance?).Basically a dance combining the three main races. The Malay and Chinese parts were so-so but the Indian one was a little too short this time round. Oh well, there's always Merdeka to look forward to.
Followed by our school's Choir.Hearing them sing the day before, I was really wishing I'd brought along earplugs that day; in the end, I guess I didn't really need it. They sang two songs, 'Thank You For The Music' and 'Gemilang'
(why did they have to sing Gemilang? It's obvious their vocals are no where near as superb as Malaysian Idol's Jaclyn Victor). They are better than last time though, that's good news.
Last but not least, the school brass band. You know, it's funny to think just two years ago these guys could have made a living playing for funerals. They are SO much better now
(thank heavens! earplugs not needed!). Also, props to the band members for upgrading the otherwise outdated version of 'Auld Lang Syne'
(is that how you spell it? =P) with some added percussion.
Well, and that about sums up this event. It's been two days since that final 'goodbye wave' Datin made to us as she left on that...truck? Right, nevermind. To think, in less than ten months from now I'll be leaving Seafield too. Heh, before that time comes, I wanna have some 'fun'
(darn you SPM!).
Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot and days of auld lang syne
For auld lang syne my dear, for auld lang syne
We´ll take a cup o´ kindness yet, for auld lang syne

Digimon, Honey & Clover and Death Note
Why the unbelievably 'weird'
(air quote) title? One word...
JAPAN!!! XD
Heh. Fact is, Japan is THE place to be-especially if you're an Otaku.
*Note: Otaku = a general term for the way of life of people (mostly teens) described as 'Anime crazy' or 'Manga bookworm'.
Reasons to visit:
-IT'S FREAKING CLEAN!!!!! Need I say more?
-lots of polite people (just go there and try counting how many times people bow to you...seriously)
-everyone is punctual (HEAR THAT VLC'S?! XD)
-don't know your way around metropolis Tokyo? No sweat, just act dumb at a train station and you'll find tons of locals flocking your way to the rescue. Haha, try it~
-*big googoo eyes looking up, down, all around* the place's a 'fashion capital'! Don't even think about NOT visiting a shopping mall there-a life changing experience...
-Honesty
....(don't lie Malaysia!)-Guess what, they don't take tips!!! Haha, you don't have to worry about getting cheated.
-If you're a music fan, make sure to check out the local YAMAHA buildings-they're huge!
-Nice yummy yummy FOOD!! XD
-DISNEYLAND!!!
(the place where 'dreams come true')
-and finally
...*stops and stares up at the giant 'Tower Records' building...O.O*...lets see if you CAN'T find a DVD/CD you want now.
Well, for me, it was mainly to visit YAMAHA that really mattered but the place is just "Heaven on Earth". My opinion, DON'T waltz on through your life without seeing this one-of-a-kind place...you'll regret it.

Final Year Of Highschool...Wow
Wow, ok, so it's been pretty long since my last update...again. I'd apologize but come on, everyone knows the Taiwan earthquake did some major damage to the telecommunication lines-sucks huh? At least the internet still worked, although it was very, very, slow...back to everyday life.
So I went on holiday to Shanghai and Beijing, China during the 2006's end of year hols. Just to clarify something:
Fact -> Public toilets in China are NOT exactly dirty. They're just really really stinky. Haha, of course not all of them are.
Now that we've got that down, I'd just like to say that both places-Shanghai and Beijing-were really nice. Seriously, I enjoyed them all. Beijing for sightseeing and a little shopping, Shanghai for the amazing 'city' atmosphere that resembled Japan (Japan still wins hands down =P).
My suggestion? For those thinking of going there and seeing the 'Great Wall' for yourself, do consider going this year (2007), as in before the Olympics in 2008. When I was there, there were lots of construction sites, the up-coming Olympic Stadium being one of them. Odds are it'd be pretty expensive to travel there during the Olympic year so 2007 should be a wise year to go. Reason? The constructions will be done and you'll get to see the finished product in all it's glory.
Back home, I got to spend the last week of the hols finally hanging out with some of my friends. A handful of us made a trip to Sunway Lagoon and had a blast, others joined us for steamboat dinner. You'll never believe how many people started hugging me for being away so long =P Also, we had our annual New Year's party at my house this year. My bro's friends joined us too. Although not everyone got along, it was still fun to catch-up with some of the people I hadn't seen in ages again, plus JK finally got the chance to play TOD2-true enough, he's addicted (success!! XD).
Now back in school, realization's hit. It's my last year in Highschool (Omg! O_O), and SPM! X_X Yup, gonna be a tough year alright, but so far so good-Pn.Xavier's my class teacher, most of my teachers are way better than last year's batch, VLC might be in trouble again but at least everyone's back in gym...etc. I dunno bout everyone else but I plan on enjoying this year to the fullest. So to all fellow Form 5's, good luck in SPM, enjoy what's left of your Highschooling experience, treasure your friends, move on but never forget the lessons learnt and finally...don't miss Prom XD
See you around~

Raya! Raya! Ra...oh whatever...
Hi again~
Thought I'd try something different this time and make my post in a center alignment. Obviously, this is the longest time I've been delaying my posts, mainly because the net connection has been going loco on me (sigh). Oh well, here goes...
Hari Raya (a.k.a. Celebration Day). To be brutally honest, it sure didn't feel like a celebration at all to me; just plain boring visits to other peoples houses-mostly relatives-to eat and talk, the only good part is the 'raya' money (ang pau!). Beats me why but the adults just can't get enough of talking; us kids (teens)? Not so much. We see each other too often I guess.
Of well, not many people were around once exams were over for 'raya'-JK went to Genting, Penang and Terengganu from what I heard, and you know what? It's been a week since I've seen him last. So much for playing TOD2 together.
Moving on past 'raya', school's back-much to my dismay. The good news is, I haven't failed a single paper yet; bad news, their pretty pathetic passes. At least I got highest for science, eh? (who am I kidding -_-"). First day back to school and I find my class 3/4 empty. Unlike the science classes, us arts students don't have anything really going on anymore for us in school so it's pretty much a waste of time going-only exceptions are the report card and papers, year book too for those who are getting it. So anyways, like I said...'pointless' going right? Truth-I'm skipping most of it. There's just better things to do at home, example, Final Fantasy 12!!!
Also, another good thing is that with the amount of 'raya' money I got (and some help from my bro), I had enough to buy a new handphone for myself (yay me!). Nokia 6151, quote McDonalds-"I'm lovin it".
Okay folks, thats about wraps up this report. Hopefully the net connection is better next time so I can post more frequent. Bye! ^^

Final Fantasy 7 : Dirge Of Cerberus
Okay, I'm here again. So, while there's about another million things to report since last month.., such as the hols are over, one of my classmate's breaking his leg so my class is on the ground floor now, or even that a boy was dragged out of school 'looking' dead on a stretcher the other day (now that one was scary, I heard he's okay though...for now). Nope, I won't be talking about that. What I will be talking about is Final Fantasy 7 : Dirge Of Cerberus ^_^Yup, I've been at that game for about a month now (roughly about the time it was out in Malaysia =P). While the gameplay was not to my liking, seeing as it was a shooting game instead of the normal RPG's the Final Fantasy series usually is. Still, I guess my shooting abilities have improved (I used to be hopeless at these kind of games =P). Heres a little more background on the FF7 for those who just plain don't know.Dirge Of Cerberus, as I'm sure everyone should know by now, stars none other than FF7's Vincent Valentine, one of the few characters of the game who's life was still tormented even after the events of Advent Children. For those who have played FF7, you'd know that Vincent is far from human, an ex-member of the Turks who went missing when in truth was used as an experiment by Dr. Hojo and Dr. Lucrecia Cresent (whom he holds very dear, sadly she chose Hojo over him-terrible mistake Lucrecia! She's also the biological mother of Sephiroth), he was then put to sleep in the basement of the Nibelheim Mansion once Hojo had had his fun. 40 years after his slumber (he's still 27 years old because his body is almost indestructable thanks to the experiments done on him), our main man Cloud and the others come along and wake Vincent up by accident, he joins them and assists in the defeat of Sephiroth (that's FF7 for ya =D).In Advent Children, Vincent saves Cloud from the 3 brothers at the Forgotten City at some point in the movie and explains to him about the illness Geostigma. After Marlene appears, Cloud, who's still not getting the picture, gets some sense knocked into him by Vincent (not physically though =P)."Can sin be forgiven?"As we find out at the end of Advent Children, it can~So, Cloud is finally able to let go of the deaths of Zack and Aeris that he blamed himself for and moves on, leaving Vincent to tell us his own story and get his own sin forgiven. That is Dirge Of Cerberus ^_^While it is hard to accept the fact that we wouldn't be seeing much of Cloud in this game, Vincent's story was well worth it (even if I hated the gameplay =P). With an exception for Reeve and Yuffie, sadly most of the other original FF7 characters only make brief appearances throughout the game-the Turks don't appear at all! (too bad for them =P). Either way, I won't be giving out any information about the storyline for awhile, will be waiting for someone else to discuss the game with~ Although, I will say that by the looks of things...Square-enix doesn't seem to want to let the FF7 saga end even there so be on the lookout people! Who knows what they'll come up with next~ Byes!

A new beginning
Hey everyone~ Been about a month since my last post-I'm just really really bored and busy.As for how life's been since the PCD concert, it's been pretty normal. School, outings, tuition, music class..blah blah blah etc. So a few interesting things did happen. Like the fact my mom and I joined Celebrity Fitness, I finally got to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean 2, and Jo's even got a new boyfriend while JK just broke up with his =PAnyways, the hols are here now but I'm still busy with tuition and homework. However, I still had some time to spare so I joined this Naruto RPG forum. It's still new but it'll get better in time. Also, there have been a few performance for VLC now that the competition's over. It's good to see that they might just be alright without me after all~ Keep going guys!!! ^^I really am a little too lazy to rant about whatever's been happening around here lately. This is all for now till I actually decide to report on something. Byes!

KINGDOM HEARTS tribute
This was something I made a long time ago out of curiosity. Thought I'd post it here for the fun of it. Just so everyone knows, it's only a trial version and I am only a noob (that's right, a noob). So have mercy people!!

PCD Concert 2006 (part 2)
Nicole again~ She was singing solo at this part till
'Stickwitu' came on

This was during
'Stickwitu', I think
(it's still my favourite song of theirs)
Now this was during
'Don't cha', meaning pretty much the
finale
Okay, so some of the pics aren't very clear
(including this one taken at the very end). Oh well, see you around
Doll's.

PCD! PCD!! PCD!!! PCD!!!!
Hi again people!! Okay, so my spirits have been lifted quite a bit since yesterdays PCD concert!!! XD Ahhhhhh!!!! The Pussycat Dolls were just so cool! They can all dance and sing really good too. MY favourites are lead singer Nicole and baby doll, Melody~ What about you? Heck, the wait was no joke. My bro and I had to wait 2 whole hours before they let us in to the stage area. Even after that, everyone was crowding around the front and my bro and I were getting litterally 'squashed' (let me tell you, it's no picnic). In the end we decided to move nearer to the back so we could actually breath (good thing we did too, better view from there). Of course the front people still had it good but I was just glad I got to see them afterall. Also, there as a guest performer was Malaysia's Reshmanu (is that how you spell his name?? who knows =P). He was okay but the dolls were the ones rocking the house. The best part of the concert to me was probably the part where they once again, litterally...'showed us what they got' (if you know what I mean). As to why I like Nicole and Melody most? I guess it's because those two have got the more impressive vocals I saw last night. Oh yeah, I even saw Haris Iskandar there (forgive me if the name spellings are wrong =P). Too bad though, didn't get to meet any of my actual friends there but there were definitely people I knew. Well, I haven't really gone into further detail of the whole entire night seeing as how that would make this post into a novel...so, I guess that's it for now. I'll go post the pictures I got from yesterdays concert. Bye PCD, come back real soon!! ^_^PS: My parents are going to Mexico today. Okay, Mexico, not so much a big deal you say? Well, wait till I tell you their stopping by in LA.

Life Goes On
Heh, thanks Kei (I can still call you that can't I? =P). Sad, I've been too busy to post anything new up till now. You probably knew this seeing as I haven't been online for ages. Now that Cheer 2006 and my monthly exams are over, time should be a little easier to find. Okay, I guess I'll just go through what's been happening ever since Cheer 2006. For starters...we didn't win anything =P (wasn't that obvious??). Oh well, at least we did pretty good on both days. We could have actually won something if that freaking DJ didn't mess-up our song giving us a time infraction! (If I see him next year...>_<). *Ahem* Moving on, we have the monthly exams. Now, if I haven't already stated how...much...I...hate...exams.....I WILL NOW!!! CAUSE I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!! (It was a complete nightmare!!). I couldn't even study! I didn't have the will to try and study!! Thus, my results...are 100% history ^_^~ (I failed BM! T_T...). Besides that, my mom and I have joined Celebrity Fitness in Subang Parade recently. Boy is it ever sweet there. Nice surroundings, loads of great facilities, clean toilets and unbelievably HOT guys (heh, that doesn't sound like me huh? but it's the truth XD). I've also gotten my braces tightened and band colour changed to the Brazil colour (they just had to lose this year...). In the long run, I'm sure everyone knows by now that my highschool cheer life is but officially over starting next year. While it is mostly my parents decision, I guess it's for the best. I'll finally be able to pay more attention to some of the other things I've put on hold. Maybe my studies won't suffer too much as well. I will definitely miss the squad and all it has to offer but 'too much' is 'too much' so I'll be watching from the stands this time round. Good luck VULCANZ... "Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader..."PS: Will be having the time of my life at the Pussycat Dolls-World Tour concert in Sunway Lagoon on Wednesday!!! =D

My Destiny
Well, nothing special to really say here. Anyways, Cheer 2006 is only days away (1st & 2nd July people!!). Gambatte VLC! Heh~ So things are a little better since the seniors came to help us out a few days ago. Routine's finally finished-all that's left is to perfect the whole thing...IN ONE WEEK?!?! (gimme a break!! -_-"). Not that it's not possible; it's just very pressuring not to mention time consuming. *Sigh* I just really hope everyone can pull themselves together and make it work for the seniors, captains, and even our own sake. After listening to it again...I guess I noticed it's a nice song. Too bad she kinda ruined it. She had lots of chances to really show-off and nail that song but...guess it was her destiny.
Katherine Mcphee - My Destiny
I have always dreamed of this
I'll admit that there was something I missed
I'm wondering if it is for real
Every mistake
Every wrong turn
Every time I lost my way
Lead me to this
Moment of bliss tonight
(chorus)
With you
Finally I can break free
With you
It's all changing in my destiny
Dream come true
It's all funny now that I see
How different life turned out to be
You were always by my side
That you believed in me was enough reason why
I didn't stop
Didn't give up
Even if I sometimes lost hope
I did my best
And I am blessed in life
(chorus x2)
I realize that it's my destiny

3..2..1..STRUGGLE!!!
Yup, you betcha, we(vlc)'re still struggling to get our entire routine done. With just 2 weeks to go, we've got the cheer and 3rd routine done (more or less-just needs some perfectioning), and the 1st routine halfway. I guess we should be able to finish it in time for the competition but whether it turns out nicely or not is a whole other story. So...more detail? Our finishing pyramid is so not working yet. We can't even get into our positions in time since the music's too rushy (no idea if we can even do the freaking stunt!). Timings and roles have been switched multiple times just to make sure every stunt has a possibility of going up. Me? I've been switched from one side all the way to the other side and got 2 stunt position switches (1 from 2nd base to main and the other to a completely different set). Oh! Handsprings are back in again (is that good or bad?). Well...with practices twice everyday excluding Sundays...energy levels are depleating fast and tempers are rising. I nearly snapped at WH earlier when he said my moving to position was ugly and asked me to run faster. Truth be told (no offence.., just from my POV), my position was at the far edge of the performance area and I'm supposed to move all the way to the center for the next stunt. Someone tell me how exactly was I to run that distance in 6 counts without skidding, slipping and nearly falling to get YC's liberty up? The stunt following that however, was far more irritating... -we get down from the liberty at count 3... -they want us to bounce for the next stunt at count 7... -that means 4 counts to get to position?! -for the middle set of the stunt the bounce is at count 5... -how are YC and CK going to get to their positions in 2 counts?!?!Thank goodness Mitra managed to solve most of it or WH and muffin might have made us continue that impossible task of getting to position on time over and over again (JY and I were just inches away from letting it all out...seriously-good thing we didn't). I guess things are a little easier with the changes (still a working process). I really really REALLY hate to admit it but theres just nothing left for me here anymore. I never joined to win. I joined because I loved to do it-I had fun. Now that that fun's gone theres no reason for me to stay any longer. Sure I had lots of good times but whats the use of doing something when you know you can't put your heart into it? I'm sorry, I really am...but it's time I left and theres no stopping me, not this time.

Living in a shadow
The title should explain more than enough about my life so far. The hols are a drag...especially since I haven't had much fun (how can anyone have fun when they've got a load of worries on their minds?). I mean, besides the fact that tuitions still on and cheer has become and 'everyday' thing there really isn't much going on around here. Nothing interesting that is.
I really hate that feeling when your bored out of your mind like crazy. Sure there's probably lots of stuff to do but neither one of'em seems to interest me. Once again, KH2 has been the only highlight of the year so far and life has only gotten duller since it ended. Even friendships are sorta drifting apart and so is the bond between cheerleaders in the squad. I kinda blame the lack of proper organization for this one but as always, theres 2 sides to a coin. 'Sweet sixteen'...yeah right..more like bitter.
Haiz...I seriously don't know whats been wrong with me lately...feeling immensely down...having the 'I don't care' attitude and all; I'm pretty sure by now it's not the braces. Maybe the fact that Jo's been put on the sidelines for Cheer 2006? The fact that my parents are gonna put a 100% stop on cheer for me after competition (but they wan't me to join CHARM?)? *Sigh*And so the nightmare saga continues...what the heck! I don't know how much more I can take!!! Someone PLEASE just gimme a break from this monotonous lifestyle!!! Why couldn't I be a somebody rather than a nobody? Trapped in darkness; waiting for that tiny glimsp of light. Wherever or whatever it is...it better show up soon.
I know this sounds 'cheesy' but guess what....I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!!!! (>_<)!!!

Happy Mother's Day~
Well, so I'm a day late-it's exams, spare me. Once again, life has taken a turn for the worst. Mom and Dad talked to me rather seriously the other day about my 'cheer life'. Apparently they want me to stop once the competition is over so that I can focus on other things to do with the time I spend cheerleading. Honestly it's a reasonable thing to quit since SPM is next year and I could really use the time to work on my music (organ class), finally go back to horse riding after a year.., and maybe go learn a different language or something (maybe I can finally learn how to cook!!! =P). Still, it's more or less my decision to leave or not...just...gonna have tons of trouble is all (like I want that...). I'm really gonna miss everyone if I leave. They've been one of the few reasons holding me back...still are. Well, really hope you VLC's can make it on your own cause theres more than a 50% chance that I'll be leaving real soon.Good luck people!and Happy Mother's Day~She used to be my only enemy and never let me free, Catching me in places that I know I shouldn't be, Ever other day I crossed the line, I didn't mean to be so bad, I never thought you would become the friend I never had,Mama I love you, Mama I care, Mama I love you, Mama my friend, My friend I didn't want to hear it then but I'm not ashamed to say it now, Every little thing you said and did was right for me, I had alot of time to think about, about the way I used to be, Never had a sense of my responsibilty But now I'm sure I know why, why you were misunderstood, So now I see through your eyes, all I can give you is love, Mama I love you, Mama I care, Mama I love you, Mama my friend, My friend

Kingdom Hearts-the story
Each journey gives rise
to chance encounters,
and each encounter brings
forth a farewell.
When a farewell leads to
a journey, the worlds open
their hearts.
Those chosen by the light,
or ensnared by darkness.
Friends who share the
same bonds, though their
paths may differ.
When you doubt the path trod
thus far, when the hand you
held is lost to you, gaze anew
at the heart that once was...
For all the answers are within.
-----
A long dream.
A sad farewell, hanging in the air
in that "world between."
What is reality? What is illusion?
The path chosen by the young boy
leads to his memories.
When caught in the stream of
the days and nights going past,
gaze anew at your steps...
For there all confusion will end.
-----
Will the day come when this battle, born
of confusion, will end?
It is different things to different people.
Can the reality be that which is hidden?
The reason is mere existence.
Still, memories can be believed.
Be not afraid. Entrust your body to the
soothing waves of your memories.
By and by, your fleeting rest will be over...
And everything will begin.

And so disaster rears it's ugly head...again
So I'm back with more news on the life and times of well...me (yeah...not one of my better opening lines...whatever). If you didn't already know, my life's a drag. A whole lot of things are getting on my nerves and I'm definitely reaching breaking point again. Not to say that I'm in the middle of an emotional breakdown or anything like that but almost everything going on right now seems to be spinning out of control. Starting with cheer. So last Friday (if I remember correctly), us VLC's held a meeting after school to discuss "Cheer Camp". I'm sure everyone knows what it is by now so let's get to the point-we're not going!! Turns out some of the members have been unsuccessful in convinsing their parents into letting them go leaving us with no choice but to cancel it since without the entire group it would be pretty much a waste of time...no offence. It was also decided that the guys wouldn't be joining Cheer 2006 this year due to many...many reasons...*sigh*. After the co-ed meeting, the girls had another meeting. We got a scolding by Mitra for being negative and making empty promises and so on (well..at least that's what she said-I'm not exactly with it 100%). The way I see it, yeah some of the members were quite negative, maybe I was at one point I guess but I never broke my promise to improve-I'm pretty sure of that. Mitra said she didn't want to say names but in a way she should point it out to the person she's referring to instead of putting the pressure on everyone else. It's not really fair. Oh well, can't really do much about it now. The squad's current status hasn't improved one bit but we're still hanging in there..barely. Back to the present, a lot of people are getting worried about us (especially the seniors). Had a chat with Kitty the other day and he seems worried. The same goes with Deborah when I talked to her earlier today. Haiz...VLC's, we got a lot of people counting on us now. I know it's hard especially since exams are just around the corner but hey...it's all part of the challenge so we just gotta deal with it...somehow...

An update
Hey there! Long time no post~ Well, so I've been busy. Nothings really changed around here,
Kingdom Hearts 2 has ended and all of us die-hard KH fans out there are just waiting ever so IMpatiently for KH3's arrival
(word is it's not coming anytime soon so it's gonna be a long and painful wait-for me at least). Guess it's time to briefly
(yeah right!) update this blog for now.
So anyways, school's
Sports Day performance is over. Thankfully it didn't go as bad as I thought it would which is a relief since everyone in the routine practically went through hell just to keep VLC from falling out of shape. Still, even with the performance over things are not really improving for the squad-the organizing committee this year just doesn't seem to be able to pull it together and get things done-almost everyone in the squad is already losing hope and the juniors have a long way to go before they can catch up with the more senior members
(hope your getting this somehow, muffin). Looks like the squads gonna have to deal with yet another downfall like 2004 if this keeps up. I really hope
cheer camp will help somehow...
Next to cheer, school just keeps getting harder! Exams are only a week and a half away and I've yet to touch my books...sound familiar? So maybe I should be studying instead of blogging here right now but I really just can't take the pressure, especially after having to catch up on all the lessons I missed skipping class for cheer practices
(with the school's permission of course =P). *Sigh*. Wish the hols would come sooner. Then JK and I can finally get to work on KH1
(you bet, I brainwashed the guy-hehe, peace!! =P).
besides that...I suppose I'll just say that I'm gonna get braces soon. Wonder how I'll look with it on...probably won't be much of a difference anyway...
(JK said he might get braces too, but he's still scared). As for me, the worse part of it's already over
(3 extractions!! XD), so now it should be smooth sailing.
Also, I decided to check out a
manga called
'Fruits Basket' (yeah I know-funny name, but great story in it's own way). It's not new or anything but lots of people said it was nice so I just thought I'd give it a try. I even got a little carried away and downloaded the
anime version of the series =P, just too bad the ending didn't seem all that satisfying although I can see why they left it there. Of course that's only for the anime version though
(it's a much happier ending in the actual manga-thank goodness ^_^).
Finally, thanks to
Sports Day I didn't have much homework and teachers were missing from class in school so I got the time to try my luck with movie editing. It's really fun~ I'm still learning though but it could definitely be a nice hobby ^_^
Here's the 1st one I made. My bro thinks it's pretty good for a beginner~ Too bad it's only a trial version so I couldn't get rid of the words "VIDEO EDIT MAGIC EXPRESS TRIAL VERSION please register" so to those of you who decide to watch it...please just ignore those words...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_M227QiSyUOkay then, that's updated enough for now. Hope it wasn't too long. Well, just quickly would like to say...to those of you
VLC's who are leaving us now that
Sports Day is over...it's been nice having you guys around and while I'd really like you to stay it's not for me to decide so good luck and please continue to support us..Byes!! =D
* To Kaori-kun and Gesty..."You'll always be there in our
hearts..."

No idea what to put here this time =S
Well, my parents are home again. After all they had to say about Paris, kinda makes me wanna go there too...oh well, maybe someday. So anyways, they brought back loads of neat stuff for both me and my bro (I got more, hehe =P). They got me 3 new shirts, a necklace, a bracelet, a pair of earrings and a really cool looking perfume bottle (with the perfume inside of course...nevermind). Either way, it has an interesting name...'Passion'...the same name of KH2's theme song (probably why I like the damn thing so much =P). Which brings me to a little something...
KINGDOM HEARTS 2 IS OUT!!! XD
Now that feels good to say~ Just can't wait to get my hands on it! I want it so bad I could kill!! (I think...).
Besides that, I guess it'd be wise to warn everyone to be extra careful tomorrow, 1 of April a.k.a. April Fools, don't forget people or your gonna get 'fooled'. Of course I ain't one to pull something on anyone so just letting you people know...your safe when it comes to me =P
Okay, well this ends here for today so nights!!
PS: Happy Birthday Mom!!! ^_^

One busy lifestyle
Hey people! Another long post here today. So school's Leo Club's IU day is over (a very interesting one I might add-the Ultraman dance was hilarious ^_^), along with the school hols so yup, it's back to school....again...*sigh*.
Well, first things first. SCHOOL SUCKS!!! I come back and teachers go for courses..., tell me how the heck am I supposed to learn anything?? They really should have given a longer holiday by the looks of it. From what I know so far, both my History and Maths teachers won't be around for at least 2 weeks. I've even got BM and English oral exams to prepare for. Combine all that with tuition classes, cheer, gym and music class and see what you get? One heck of a busy lifestyle (that's what)...which sucks...
Moving on, my dad has finally gone on his business trip to Paris/London with my mom 2 days ago. Which leaves me and bro at home for a week to continue our 'boring' lifestyle (at least that's the way I see it). It's pretty hard without them around since it leaves both me and my bro in serious transportation problems. I mean, if it wasn't for the driver we'd be trapped at home for a whole week! Really wish I could have followed them though (not like I'm learning much anyway).
Oh yeah, here's something interesting. After 2 whole years, I finally went to see a dentist (trust me, my teeth have serious problems =P). It seems there's a lot to be done before I can get braces (word is I might have surgery-ahhhhh!!!). Whatever, I'm cool~
Also, there was no music class today on account of our exams being over so I'm quite free to relax for once~(thank you!!!). Anyway, instead of gym, muffin and I, along with some of the other female cheerleaders are going to some hip hop workshop thingy tonight. Hopefully it'll be fun =D
Well, gotta go get some rest for later so bye!
PS: KH2's English version is coming out in the US in just 3 days!!! YEAH!!! XD

Valentine's week
Okay, so I didn't post anything on Valentine's Day...just too busy everytime. Anyways, the day didn't turn out all that bad-actually got something from Jo again this year. Nothing else that fancy bout the day except for the fact that the school radio was going love-song crazy (seriously!!).
The following day, there was to be a surprise party for JY after our VLC evening practice. I didn't think I'd go at first but then discovered that I didn't have too much homework and decided to spend some time there with everyone else. We all gathered at her house about an hour before her arrival (her mom helped 'kick' her out for a while =P). While waiting, some of us PS freaks had some fun playing JY's brothers' PS2 (I had lots of fun watching JK lose battle after battle playing Naruto!!! XD). I'm so sorry JK but you just SUCK!!!
After JK got his fill of losses (and once muffin finally made it to her house), we went down and waited for JY. I have to admit the surprise worked like a charm~ (only...it was pretty much her mom that got the full blast =P). Too bad for YC, she arrived right after the surprise.
So anyway, it was dinner time~ The food was good alright-especially liked the satay =P Eventually everyone started doing their own things. JK started playing card games, Jo and I were trying out the piano, WY was playing JY's brother's guitar and Mitra along with almost everyone else were playing some weird game that involved passing drinks in a circle while singing some weird tune they invented (I think...really weird game...).
Oh well, after cutting the cake, it was time for me to go home and finish up my homework =P All in all one of the few parties I've been to without our VLC seniors (CW and CC). Still, when there's a PS2 nearby it's never hard to have fun~
PS: Happy Birthday to JY, Jas and Amirah ^-^

And so life goes on...
Okay, the CNY hols are over at last and it's another back-to-school time for us students. So I'm not exactly excited about going back to school (like da...who is??) but there are a few interesting updates in my life. For one, I'm definitely not as moody as I was when I wrote the last post...though I'm still having a hard time digesting all that information.
Back to the present, English Week (typical..). So anyways, the assembly went on as usual, you know the drill-doa, ikrar (wait...how do you spell that? =P), misi & visi, normal announcements and etc. After all that there was a little sketch on the importance of English called 'The Job Interview'. Muffin, WY and Joshua were in it (along with some other people I don't know =P). From my point of view, muffin and Joshua were great but WY has some speaking issues =P Also, the sketch was pretty confusing near the end...I really don't think anyone got it...oh well, so much for that~
Next, today was my 1st day of English literature tuition with none other than Pn. Xavier ^_^. While my English is pretty good (for M'sian standards only), I'm still pretty new to this whole English lit-being-a-different-paper-than a normal English paper-thing (okay...wasn't that confusing XD). Either way I found the class to be quite interesting. We're learning 'Romeo & Juliet' =P (of all the novels in the world). Well, since it's a drama, she assigned certain characters to certain people (I'm supposed to play the role of some person named Paris...well Paris something...I think). Anyway, reading the olden day English Shakespeare wrote the thing in is a real laugh...really, it's seriously funny! I nearly laughed my head off!! Oh, and this may sound stupid but I never knew that Juliet was only 13 in the story =P (the 1st shocker of the day).
So enough about English for a while. Now onto Kingdom Hearts 2 (KH2). Sure I've mentioned this game along with it's prequel loads of times but come on, it's definitely THE GREATEST RPG game you'll ever find out there so just chuck that FFX game CD out the window (Tetsuya Nomura's a genius!!!!!!). While the game's English version has been set to release 'sometime' in March it still feels like a million years to me. A recent article I read contained some majorly shocking news. The most shocking so far is that the BHK in the game (Roxas), is going to be voiced by Jesse McCartney!!!! (can you believe that?!?!?! haha). Besides that, there could even be a KH movie once the series ends!!! (of course this is only a 'maybe' sorta thing). Finally, I bet some of you are aware by now that Port Royal is one of the new worlds in KH2 (yup, you get to meet Capt. Jack Sparrow!!!). However, note that Johnny Deep as well as the rest of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' cast will not be voicing them in the game (probably due to the upcoming release of the movie's sequel...too bad for us =P).
Looks like that's it for today. I'm really getting restless just waiting for March...*sigh*...music class exam...this ain't looking too good after all. Gotta practice, so bye!

Recent events
So as everyone knows, it's back-to-school time again! *sigh* Good news? Yeah right...many people have said that Form 4's the 'honeymoon' year. My opinion? Definitely not! I really hated the streaming!! To think that I was actually sick of some of my classmates during the past 3 years I've known them but now...I'M ACTUALLY WISHING I WAS STILL IN 3E!!! Sure a bunch of my friends from my old class are in the same stream with me this year but it's still sad to be separated from the others like CV and Claudia =(
While school life seemed to start-off like a nightmare, cheer was no real picnic...again. Just last Friday (the 13th) was our performance for UMW (don't ask). A strictly tiring day, especially since Crabby and I were still sick. The performance was supposed to be at 7pm but the people organizing the event wanted us to be there early to do a rehearsal (yup, we were there from about 3-10pm =P). Either way, both the rehearsal and performance were good (no falls) and many people seemed impressed. After the performance was over, almost everyone went into 'dancin' mode-literally, they were doing ballroom dancing and the 'cha-cha' (it was really weird). Still, if that isn't weird enough how's the fact that me and JK spent the whole journey back singing Disney songs on the bus??
Back to more recent events, us Form 4's just finished our last day of PMD. Seriously one of the more fun PMD's I've had throughout my life so far. Really liked the personality test thingy even if it wasn't that accurate from my point of view-I NEED COUNSELING?!?! (sadly my mom thinks otherwise =P). Also, there are quite a number of new people joining cheer this time round. Most of'em seem very pleasing so far, hopefully they stick around. Lastly, my family and I got a sneak preview of the movie 'Memoirs Of A Geisha' a few days ago and let me tell'ya it's a good movie although you probably won't understand it very well unless you read the novel. Guess that's it for now.
PS: Thanks a lot to CC, Gesty and WY for making me feel better last Friday =D

Times are happening
Hey people, I know it's been ages since my last post again but things have just been chaotic since that HK (Hong Kong) trip. Disneyland was by far the best and for anyone going there in the near future...DON'T MISS SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!Okay, before I continue I'd like to take this chance to wish everyone...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!Now that that's done, here are some of the more exciting (important) things that have happened in the previous month.First, I'm sure most of you know that the PMR results came out during the time I was in HK. So how did I get my results? Well, my mom had to call all the way from HK!! Turns out it wasn't that bad-6 A's, a B and a C. Mom said I could have a present if I scored 5 A's and above so...hehe...I ain't gonna say what it is just yet but for those of you who know me well enough it should be quite obvious.Back home, the VLC captains arranged practices 4 times a week for an upcoming performance on the 13th of January. Thing is, I'm flying this time since the juniors can't be in on account of 'afternoon session'. Oh well, wish me luck! Also, us VLC's had a new year's countdown at Mitra's (we had BBQ!!). Sure it rained and people came late but we got through it. Of all the things I did there, the most fun to me was when some of us got to play Mitra's (or her bro's) PS2. We played 'SoulCalliberIII' (is that how you spell it? =P). KP was really good and won loads, CW was okay too though he lost some and KH was in the middle of a winning streak...that is until he fought me =P (haha, that felt so good...I WON ALL 3 ROUNDS!!!). Hopefully he doesn't want a rematch anytime soon XD Oh yeah, also a big 'thank you' to Bernice for the present and to everyone else for the nice Birthday cake-it was great~Last but not least, to all you hardcore gamers out there...KINGDOM HEARTS 2 ROCKS!!! Sure I've only played the Japanese version so far but to like (and finish) it in a language I barely understand?? I mean come on...that's gotta prove how great it really is. I just can't wait for the english version! My final statement?...It's not the end...

Our wacky outing
On the 15th of December (2 days before my DOB), we VLC's had another 'wacky' outing. This time to Sunway Lagoon. The outing in my opinion was a blast despite JK's lack of activity managing skills (as if Mitra or Bernice are going to forgive him anytime soon). We went on almost every ride there (almost because I didn't dare go on the tomahawk and skipped the snake thingy).
The dry park was first which is where we rode some rollercoaster-lost city of gold, or something; let me tell ya, if it's 1 thing I can't stand it's heights but of course I can't stand scary stuff either so...oh well, everyone's got weaknesses right? And don't bother asking how or why I don't mind being basket tossed cause I don't even know. We also rode the River Rapids, the spinning cups thingy and a bunch of other stuff I can't seem to remember right now =P
Soon came the time for us to go to the waterpark (where I had a lot more fun, thank you very much~). Everyone loved the water slides a lot. We went on that one over and over again (the only down part about that ride was the fact that we had to climb like a million stairs all the way up before we could slide down). After that, some of us (not me) rented tubes to sit on while floating on the lazy river thingy-basically u just sit on the tube and let the river's currant bring you to wherever. Another fun time when everyone was together was in the waves pool. What did we do there? What any sane person would do....swim.
Anyway, me and 2 others left the pool a while later so we could try a little thing called body surfing. Bernerd already knew how to do it but me and JK were 1st timers. Once the boards were rented it was time to hit the waves~ I'll admit I couldn't really get it in the beginning but once I did it was way fun!!! Sadly JK never got it and passed the board to Billy (who got it by the way-poor JK =P). The fun continued until it was time to shower and change. The group pretty much split up after that. The five of us-Billy, JK, ZW, muffin, Amirah and I went to see Narnia while the rest went to do who knows what in Pyramid.
Well, the outing pretty much ended after the movie (which was a lot longer than I anticipated). After dropping everyone else at their respective homes my parents and I went for a late dinner which was the reason I didn't collapse straight away once I reached home. Oh well, that's that~

Holiday....right....
Boy, this holiday's turned into one heck of a roller coaster ride. So far, the 4th Harry Potter movie was not exactly as thrilling as I expected it to be (they rushed through everything). Trust me, if you haven't read the book....just 'don't bother' watching the movie since you won't understand it.
Okay, cheerleading practices...how have they been? Well, for a start we've got tons of missing people here and there..., captains disappearing for Charm practices..., and a freaking performance coming up!! (that we did not agree to take by the way). The performance is supposed to be for the SUKMA thingy on the 12th of December which is also Bernice's Birthday~ (5 days before mine). As if we don't already have a bone to pick with the school for making us give back our attires... I mean, normally I'd love to perform for such stuff especially since this one is infront of the queen or something but...I don't even know if we have enough people! Plus WY has shall we say 'bleached' his hair (YUP! HE"S BLOND!!!). Can this get any worse? (besides the fact that we have no routine) Ughh...don't answer that...
I doubt there's anything else of interest to mention besides my bro's new found hobby in playing an RO private server JK gave. The thing is..., some of his friends tried to download some weird program on his computer when he wasn't looking and tada....it's busted! So he's stuck using mine...-_-"
Haiz...hope his compy gets fixed soon...

Picture PURRfect
Hi again~ Feels like I haven't blogged for ages! Well, not gonna say much today....just wanted to finally post these pics of 'licky' (whom we-my bro and cousins-met in Penang while visiting). He's really playful and the reason we named him licky? That should be obvious =P
Slippery feet and licky tongue (sounds like a pokemon =P)
Yaya on Hari Raya~ (I do a rhyme all the time)
Mom on the left and aunt on the right
