Rough start....smooth recovery~~~
Another chance to sleep in again this morning though it seems my 'built-in' alarm clock had other ideas. Ended up getting out of bed at 10.00am (an hour earlier then I expected to do so =X) Well, as the title so says....today didn't start out very smoothly mainly because I was missing a certain someone....
Oh well, couldn't bring myself to study this morning, nor did I have any appetite to eat breakfast. I'd give you 3 guesses why but it's probably pretty obvious. Since my mood wasn't all that good this morning, I spent about an hour online doing almost nothing since there was nobody to actually talk to besides Blade who ended up saying a few words and leaving me alone before I logged off and got dressed for 'dim sum' lunch at Sheraton ^_^~
Normally, I look forward to this but today's lunch didn't turn out so good.
In detail, there were a lot of people eating there when we came-took a while to get a table. Then, service was slow since they were short of staff. I was like really hungry-afterall, I did skip breakfast =P. The food came slow and we had to remind them a few times about some of the orders but would you guess after reminding them twice....they missed our order!!! We were waiting for like what....half an hour??? The order was cancelled in the end and I decided to go home instead of joining the rest of my family for burger since my appetite was no where to be found once more =P.
Later that evening, things brightened up abit when I went for my horse riding lesson. At first, my instructor wanted to take us (me and 3 more riders-all girls) to ride at the track~ Would have been fun if it wasn't for the fact that the horse I was riding-Camelot (aka. Cammy) was the kinda horse who'd act up in tracks (she'd gallop away and I'd be in big trouble =P). To prevent this, my instructor attached another rope to Cammy's head-piece so he'd be able to stop her from running of. However, a polo game (for those of you who don't already know, polo is a game where people on horses carry a long hammer looking stick used to hit the ball) was going on. In general, many people would not see a problem with this since the track was around the polo field and the horses on the field would not cause any disturbance....well, that's where they're wrong. To play polo, the horses on the field would definitely have to gallop and unlike humans....horses seem to have the instinct to 'follow the leader' meaning if 1 horse gallops....the others follow. The fact that Cammy might have just made that teory a reality was what made my instuctor change his mind and bring us hacking~
Heh, I would have prefered 'tracking' rather than 'hacking' by far. Mostly because tracking is when you just canter around in a simple track that goes in circles (it's on even ground). Hacking however, involves making the horse climb up slopes and going down slopes....believe me it's scary...like your at the edge of a cliff plus it's not even you whose controlling where your walking (like da....the horse is). Besides worying I'd somehow fall off the stupid cliff, the other riders behind me were pretty talkative for my taste, they kept complaining how scary it was. My instuctor had to constantly remind them to concentrate on the path but nooooo...they had to keep yapping away. Guess they finally learnt their lesson when 1 of them fell of King (a horse's name). She wasn't hurt though but I think she's a jynx (she's fallen off 2 different horses in a month =X).
Well, all in all I had fun~ Finally, an adventure. Was waiting for something like this to happen. Okay, I've written long enough, hope this didn't turn out too boring for whoever's reading this. Over and out~~
